8-24 September 2020 Being members of the project team, we kindly invite you to participate in the DAREnet Online Workshop Cycle. The DAREnet project aims at strenghtening flood resilience in the entire Danube river region. For this purpose, the practitioners’ view on needs and innovations is essential. In order to collect this knowledge and allow for collaborative work, DAREnet invites groups of people from different domains and disciplines, organisations and countries to join this webinar on “equipment” in flood response and management. The first webinar will focus on Hygienic Measures in the Context of Floods and will be held on 8th September 1.00-3.00PM. COVID-19 has accelerated implementation of digital technologies to support containment of the pandemic. It is in the public interest to allow emergency exceptions for data collection and processing. However, this should not be at the cost of individual freedoms and civil liberties that underpin the functioning of democracy. And, to become effective, many of the technologies require public trust and the trust of emergency practitioners. In the era of pandemic PROceed may prove to be a particularly useful educational tool. The Minister of Digitization encouraged the use of various methods of remote learning, including gambling. Proceed is an excellent educational tool in the current situation.

This academic year, we have been joined by the Staropolska Szkoła Wyższa w Kielcach, the faculty in Myślenice. The community of PROCeed games’ users is already about 1,000 people. The community of PROCeed users already has about 20 entities. We encourage you to share your comments and observations in the comments on the website.

In 2018/2019 we welcome the Social Academy of Sciences in Łódź among members of the community of new PROCeed users. We are happy to welcome every school that wants to start the adventure with using our tools. We wish you success!

This year, the academic community of PROCeed users has grown by two new members: Wroclaw School of Banking, Faculty of Economics in Opole and Medical University of Lublin. Welcome aboard!
